Extended notice on the use of cookies and similar technologies, pursuant to Article 122 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 (Privacy Code), the Italian Data Protection Authority’s Guidelines on cookies of 10 June 2021, and EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).
1. Data Controller
The Controller of data collected via cookies is R.E.R.S. S.R.L., registered office at Viale Bassani 87/G, 36016 Thiene (VI), Italy – VAT 04161180247 – PEC: rers@legalmail.it. For any cookie- or privacy-related request, you may contact the Controller at the above details.
2. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that visited websites send to the user’s device (computer, tablet, smartphone), where they are stored and later sent back to the same sites on subsequent visits. Cookies allow the site to function correctly, remember user preferences and collect information on usage. Similar technologies (such as local storage, pixels, web beacons) may be used for similar purposes; in this document the term “cookie” refers to all such technologies.
3. Types of cookies used by this site
3.1 Technical cookies (necessary) — no consent required
These are essential for the proper functioning of the site and to provide the services requested by the user. They do not require prior consent.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
pll_language | Stores the selected language (Polylang) | 1 year |
cdannunzio_cookie_consent | Stores the user’s cookie choice | 6 months |
| WordPress session cookies | Maintain the browsing session and security | Session |
3.2 Third-party cookies and content — subject to consent
This site embeds content provided by third parties, which may set their own cookies. Such content is activated only after the user’s action/consent.
| Service | When it activates | Purpose | Third-party policy |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Maps (Google Ireland Ltd.) | Only after the user clicks “Load map” | Display of the map showing the property’s location | policies.google.com/privacy |
| Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd.) | Only on the payment page, when the user chooses to pay online | Secure payment processing, fraud prevention | stripe.com/privacy |
Until the user interacts with such content, no third-party cookie is set.
3.3 Profiling, analytics and marketing cookies
This site does NOT use profiling cookies, analytics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics), advertising or remarketing cookies, nor does it share data with advertising platforms for marketing purposes.
4. Legal basis
- For technical cookies: the Controller’s legitimate interest in providing a service expressly requested by the user (Art. 6.1.f GDPR; Art. 122 Privacy Code, which exempts them from consent).
- For third-party cookies: the data subject’s consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR), given through the dedicated banner or explicit interaction with the content (e.g. loading the map).
5. Managing and withdrawing consent
On the first visit, a banner allows you to accept or decline third-party content. Your choice is recorded (date, time, anonymised IP address) for accountability purposes and kept for as long as necessary to demonstrate the lawfulness of processing.
You may change or withdraw your consent at any time:
- by deleting cookies from your browser (see section 6);
- third-party content (the map) always remains subject to an explicit user action on each visit where consent has not been given.
6. How to manage cookies in your browser
You can configure your browser to accept, reject or delete cookies. Official guides:
- Google Chrome: support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647
- Mozilla Firefox: support.mozilla.org
- Safari: support.apple.com/safari
- Microsoft Edge: support.microsoft.com/microsoft-edge
Disabling technical cookies may impair the proper functioning of the site.
7. Transfers outside the EU
Some third-party providers (e.g. Google, Stripe) may process data in countries outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, transfers comply with Articles 44 et seq. of the GDPR, based on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or adequacy decisions.
8. Your rights
You may exercise at any time your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability (Articles 15-22 GDPR) by writing to [controller email/PEC], and lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante – www.garanteprivacy.it).
9. Changes to this Cookie Policy
The Controller reserves the right to update this Cookie Policy, including as a result of legal changes or changes to the services used. The version in force is always the one published on this page.
